We have posted several times on how to mark legitimate email messages as “Not Spam”, but it is easy to forget to regularly check our Spam folder.  To put your Spam folder more front and center, move it from the depths of your Gmail contents list to near the top, so you can see when there are Spam messages accumulating.

  1. In Gmail, click on the “More” link in the left column.
  2. Click on your “Spam” folder and drag it up near the top of your contents list as shown above.
  3. You should now see your Spam folder with the number of messages listed in parenthesis.
