Safari has added a new feature with OS X Yosemite – the “Show All Tabs” button.
When you find that you have many tabs open……
The “Show All Tabs” button will help you quickly manage your open pages in an easily viewable format.
Click on the “Show All Tabs” button, located in the upper right corner of the Safari window.
All your open pages will now be displayed in the browser window as thumbnails.
You can quickly move between pages by clicking on the preview icon thumbnail or you can close them, by clicking on the x in the upper-left corner of the thumbnail. If you have multiple pages from the same website open, they will be grouped together.
Just “one more thing” …. well three more things….
- The keyboard shortcut is Command-Shift – \
- The two finger pinch will also open all the tabs
- Any open iCloud tabs on your other devices (iPhone, iPad) are also displayed at the bottom of the “show all tabs” view.
