Here are the steps you should take to disconnect from the Archive Fileserver and connect to the new BA-Files Fileserver.

Remove link to Archive
If you have the Archive Server in your Server Connection List, delete it with the following steps.

1. Select “Connect to Server…” from the “Go” menu.
   
2. Click on the Archive Server address and click on the Remove button.
   

Create a Link to BA-Files

1. Select “Connect to Server…” from the “Go” menu.
   
   
2. Enter the address:  smb://ba-files.brewsternet.org
   Click the “+” sign
   Click the “Connect Button”
   
   
3. Enter your FAC# and your 10 character password to gain access.

You should see the same folder structure and files as you did in the Archive Server.

Since BA-Files is a Windows-based server, the file and folder names need to adhere to stricter naming conventions. The following characters should not be used in folder or file names:

• < (less than)
• > (greater than)
• : (colon)
• ” (double quote)
• / (forward slash)
• \ (backslash)
• | (vertical bar or pipe)
• ? (question mark)
• * (asterisk)
